Senior Registered Dietitian (NY)

Caitie is a Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist specializing in eating disorder recovery. She received a Bachelor of Science in Applied Psychology and Nutrition, as well as a Master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition, from New York University. She has over five years of experience working with individuals recovering from eating disorders at both outpatient and inpatient levels of care.

Caitie’s counseling sessions integrate nutrition education, medical nutrition therapy, mindfulness-based stress reduction, and body image exploration. She values a holistic approach to recovery. When creating a treatment plan, Caitie considers nutrition and health science as well as your values, your innate wisdom, and your unique experiences. She is also dedicated to staying aware of the ways in which identity and systemic matters influence nutrition and body image. She aims to help you define what health and wellbeing mean in the context of your life, so that you can create a sustainable nutrition/self-care toolbox.

Caitie believes that an individualized, compassionate, and judgement-free environment is key to finding a sense of healing and genuine wellbeing. She is Health-at-Every-Size oriented and applies the Intuitive Eating framework to help you eat well and make peace with your body so that you can show up fully for the things that matter most to you.

Caitie is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the New York City Chapter of International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IADEP), and The Greater New York Dietetic Association.
