Beck Liatt, LCSW, SIFI
Therapist (NY)
Beck Liatt (they/them) is a therapist with years of experience working with eating disorders, substance use disorders, trauma, and concerns related to gender and sexuality. They have worked in higher level of care settings, most recently serving as the Clinical Director for an eating disorder PHP and IOP program. Beck very much enjoys working with clients in midlife who want to develop a healthier relationship with their bodies after years hating what they see in the mirror.
Beck uses a multidimensional approach based in insight building (psychodynamic), Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Beck believes it is important to discuss how both the client’s and the therapist’s social identities can impact the therapeutic relationship and aims to always be as culturally responsive and reflexive as possible.
In their free time, Beck loves to read, hang with their cats, Millie and Jan, and dive into one bad reality show at a time.
