Dana Magid is a NJ and NY Licensed Social Worker. Dana graduated with her Masters from Ramapo College of New Jersey. She has experience working with all levels of care: PHP, IOP, Residential, and hospitalization. She has years of experience working with eating disorders, addiction, addictive disorders, co-occurring disorders, and mood disturbance.
Dana has participated in trainings to better her knowledge and has become proficient in CBT and DBT skills. She has experience working with trauma (Cognitive Processing Therapy CPT trained) and has an expertise in grounding techniques and meditation skills.
Dana believes full recovery is possible and uses treatment approaches to help motivate and empower her clients. Dana uses treatment approaches such as: strengths-based therapy, motivational interviewing and meeting clients where they are in their recovery process.
Dana joined the EDRS team which compliments her passion to help individuals with an eating disorder. She helps clients build recovery focused goals and skills that are pertinent to long term recovery.
