Jessie Huebner, LMHC, LCP, CEDS-S, CAP, joined Eating Disorder Recovery Specialist (EDRS) in mid 2016 as a recovery specialist and moved into the role as the Director of Clinical Services in early 2019. Jessie received her master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with the state of Florida and Licensed Professional Counselor in New Jersey. She is an active member of the International Association for Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP). Jessie is a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS), a Certified Addiction Professional (CAP) and is EMDR trained. She is currently working towards certification in EMDR as well as becoming a certified Intuitive Eating Counselor. Jessie has extensive experience in working in all levels of care from residential, PHP and IOP to outpatient in roles as therapist to clinical director. Jessie has been apart of startup teams for new Eating Disorder and Mental Health programs and has been an instrumental part in the development and growth of the center. Jessie also believes in giving back to the community, and as such has been a committed member of the Alliance for Eating Disorders, currently assist in leading their free community support groups and currently serves on the board for IAEDP South FL chapter. She also is in private practice and is a qualified supervisor for those seeking licensure in FL with focus on professional development and personal growth. Jessie comes from a Health at Every Size (HAES) and Intuitive Eating approach and believes in meeting clients where they are. Her treatment approach includes the following proven methods: CBT, DBT, strengths-based therapy, and motivational interviewing. Jessie uses these modalities to help others see and believe that they can be made whole again; living a life of purpose and intentionality. Jessie’s desire is to help each person find hope and healing for a bright future!
