Lillie Brody, LMHC
Therapist (NY)
Lillie Brody, LMHC is a licensed mental health counselor who received her Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling from Fordham University. She has experience serving as a primary therapist and team lead in an eating disorder higher level of care, where she worked closely with adolescents, adults, and their loved ones in intensive treatment settings. Through this work, Lillie developed extensive experience supporting individuals and families navigating
eating disorders, depression, trauma, and co-occurring concerns such as anxiety, substance use, and life transitions. Her clinical background continues to shape a thoughtful, compassionate, and behaviorally informed approach to care.
Lillie’s work is trauma-informed, relational, and integrative, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She works collaboratively with clients to understand patterns such as emotional avoidance, self-criticism, and urge-driven behaviors, while building greater awareness and choice in how they respond. Lillie emphasizes flexibility over control and self-trust over perfection, helping clients develop practical tools that support emotional regulation and day-to-day life. Therapy with Lillie is paced intentionally, balancing skill-building with deeper emotional
processing and reflection.
Lillie aims to create a steady, warm, and non-judgmental space where clients can show up as they are and move toward meaningful change at a manageable pace. Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys creative writing and reading, interests that reflect her curiosity and appreciation for each client’s unique story. She values ongoing learning and thoughtful
advocacy within mental health care, and welcomes the opportunity to support clients as they build greater clarity, flexibility, and well-being.
