Stephanie DeSantis, LMSW
Therapist & Recovery Specialist
Stephanie is a licensed social worker based in NY who is passionate about delivering therapy that is empowering, supportive, and rooted in safety. She has found that clients respond best to therapeutic interventions when they feel respected and understood for who they are. She honors her clients’ individuality and provides a safe environment free of any judgment.
Stephanie works with adolescents and adults struggling with eating disorders, anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, self-harm, and complex trauma. She strives to help her clients manage symptoms affecting their quality of life while uncovering the root of these concerns so they can find long-lasting relief. She is intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and integrates CBT, Psychodynamic therapy, and ACT into her work for a holistic, well-rounded approach. Stephanie enjoys bringing authenticity and humor into the therapy space while working collaboratively with clients toward their goals.
Stephanie received her Master’s degree from Sacred Heart University and has experience in PHP/IOP and private practice. She is currently a Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW), working toward her clinical license (LCSW). In her free time Stephanie enjoys trying new coffee shops, cuddles and walks with her dog, and reading psychological thrillers.
