Jamie is a graduate of the University of South Florida where she earned a Master’s Degree in rehabilitation and mental health counseling. She has 10+ years of experience in the eating disorder and substance abuse field working in all levels of care and positions. She is a trained Psychodramatist and an active member of IAEDP. Jamie is also actively involved in the Alliance for Eating Disorder Awareness. Jamie has had the opportunity to work alongside those navigating codependency, eating disorders, substance abuse, anxiety, depression, dual diagnosis, and LGBT issues among others. She believes in a therapeutic alliance and in approaching mental health as part of total mind, body, and spiritual wellness.

There is no one size fits all approach in therapy with Jamie: each session is tailored to meet you where you’re at and to help you reach your goals at that moment. Jamie is passionate about creating a safe space to process feelings and explore new ways to understand your thoughts and emotions. She prides herself on being relatable and using humor to stay grounded and remind clients that we are all simply human.
