Jillian Adler, LMSW

Associate Therapist (New York)

Jillian holds a masters degree from New York University and a B.A. from George Washington University. She received post graduate training for eating disorders at the Institute of Contemporary Psychotherapy in their Center for Study of Anorexia and Bulimia division. Jillian’s therapeutic style is non-judgmental, caring, and direct. She believe compassion, rather than critique, is necessary in order to make positive changes, and allows that principle to guide her work. Jillian is passionate about working with eating disorder recovery for many reasons. She has seen many people in her own world affected by eating disorders, and believes eating disorders are becoming increasingly pervasive in our society. Additionally, Jillian believes the relationship one has with food can inform many aspects of one’s life – a healthy relationship with food can increase positive outcomes elsewhere.
