Shira Goldstein is a NJ and NY Licensed Social Worker. Shira graduated with her Masters from Fordham University. She has experience working with all levels of care: Residential, PHP, IOP and outpatient. She has years of experience working with eating disorders, addiction, co-occurring disorders, mood disorder and psychosis. Shira is experienced using CBT, DBT and CPT modalities, to aid clients in their healing process. Shira believes in an all foods fit model and believes recovery is possible for all clients. Shira believes providing an empathetic and safe space for clients to heal and show up as their authentic selves is essential for them to explore their motivations, goals, and values. Shira works with her clients to learn what barriers they have to recovery and aid in finding ways to overcome those barriers. Shira joined the EDRS team to pursue her passion to help individuals with an eating disorder along their recovery journey. She helps clients build recovery focused plans that are essential in long term recovery. Shiras has a client centered approach in which clients are the experts in their own recovery and are empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.
